2017畢業成果發表會 英語話劇 The New Wizard of Oz 新世紀之綠野仙蹤

資優班學生與老師合力創作這齣英語話劇，顛覆了過去大家對於綠野仙蹤這個故事的印象，沒有了桃樂絲與她的朋友們，The Land of Oz已經變成一塊荒蕪之地，三位勇敢的科學家利用它們在資優班的獨立研究結果，解決冒險中的困難，最後終於趕走壞巫婆，終於恢復The Land of Oz的平靜與美麗。

△時鐘走動的聲音。   音效1

△二個發明家Vicky與Lucas在研究室工作。

Vicky：噢，天啊。

Oh my gosh.

Lucas：怎麼了嗎？

What happened?

Vicky：我好像找到了。

I think I found it.

Lucas：找到了？

You found it?

Vicky：找到了。

Yes, I found it.

Lucas：真的嗎？

Really ?

Vicky：是的，經歷了三年三月…

Yes , after 3 years and 3 months...

Lucas：經歷了三天三夜…

3 days and 3 nights...

Vicky：三時三分…

3 hours and 3 minutes...

Lucas：以及三秒外加三毫秒。

And 3 seconds and 3 milliseconds.

Vicky：我們找到了偉大的The Land of Oz。

We found the great “Land of Oz”!

Lucas：但是…

But…

△Easy進來。

Easy：有一座山擋在中間。

There is a mountain between us and the land of oz.

Lucas：是的。

Yes.

Vicky：沒錯。

That’s  right.

Easy：天啊，我就知道你們靠不住，我已經研究好了，經歷了三年三月…

My goodness, I already knew you couldn’t make it. So I already invented something. After 3 years and 3 months.

Lucas：三天三夜…

3 days and 3 nights...

Vicky：三時三…等一下，你說你三年前就知道了The Land of Oz在哪裡了？

3 hours and 3 …Wait , you said you already knew where the” Land of Oz” was 3 years ago?

Easy：正確來說，是三年三月三天三夜三時三分以及三秒外加三毫秒。而且我還有研究如何用飛盤的特殊飛行路線來繞過山。音樂請上。

In fact ,it is 3 years 3 months 3 days 3 nights 3 hours 3 minutes 3 seconds and 3  milliseconds. And I also invented how to use the Frisbee to go over the mountain. Music!  

△Easy進行報告。

Vicky：那我們研究這麼久…

So we studied so long...

Lucas：動用了數百名人力…

And used hundreds of people...

Vicky：耗資上千億…

And used more than 1000 billion dollars...

Lucas：還自己花錢買衛星…

And bought a satellite.

Vicky：你為什麼沒有告訴我們？

Why didn’t you tell us?

Easy：因為你跟我不同邊啊，你們是美國太空總署的間諜!

Because you are not on our side, you're the spies from Nasa!

Vicky：你怎麼知道!

How do you know!

Good afternoon, welcome to the G6 news.

午安，歡迎觀賞G6新聞

Today, the president of the USA released an announcement.  

以下是今天美國總統發表的談話

△總統發話。
總統：對於我們的「Oz」任務，我們在一個月前發現了來自G6的人才，
他們研究出了如何利用飛盤的發射路徑，來繞過大山。而另一個人才則是Matthew，他是Easy的得力助手。兩位人才，加上Lucas，就三個人了。但Easy的飛盤只能載三個人，所以，Vicky，你要留下來囉。

President：

We found geniuses from G6

我們請到G6的六位天才協助

They found out the route of a flying Frisbee

他們找到飛盤的飛行路徑

which could help them avoid the mountain

能夠幫他們越過高山的阻礙

Matthew is Easy’s assistant, in addition to Lucas,

Matthew和Lucas是Easy的助理

There are three of them.

共有三個人

But Easy’s frisbee can only take 3 people.

但Easy的飛盤只能載3個人

So, Vicky, you stay with me!

所以Vicky你留在我身邊

第二幕《The Land of Oz》 Part 1

△沉悶的音樂聲起~    

△稻草人垂頭喪氣的走出場，在一旁沉思，動也不動。

△Eason、Lucas、Matthew 開心的走出場。

Matthew ：耶~終於到了The Land of Oz。

Ya~We finally arrived at the Land of Oz.

Eason：不對啊~當時聽到Dorothy回去後的說法，這裡應該是一個很美麗、很祥

和的聖地。你們看，這裡稻田的稻子怎麼都枯萎了，灌溉的小溪也都乾涸了?

Wait, Dorothy said this is supposed to be a beautiful and peaceful place. But look, the rice paddy here is all withered and the river is dry.

△Eason托起稻草人的下巴。

Eason：連稻草人都是無精打采的。

Scarecrow is also lifeless.

稻草人：唉!

(Sigh)

Eason：還有這隻稻草人瘦巴巴的，一看就知道營養不良。

This scarecrow is so thin. She must lack nutrition.

稻草人：請不要做人身攻擊!

No personal attacks！

Eason：喔!是是是。我?......啊~稻草人會說話！

Oh! sorry. I…...What?? The scarecrow can talk??

△三人拿槍對著稻草人\

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：這裡一定就是Dorothy說的The Land of Oz。沒錯！

This must be the Land of Oz.

稻草人：啊～有3個陌生人綁架了我。

Oh no~ three strange guys kidnapped me.

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：冷靜一點，我們哪有綁架你啊。

Cool down, we didn’t kidnap you.

稻草人：不然～你們幹嘛用槍指著我？

Then~Why are you using your gun to point at me?

△大家趕緊放下槍。

Matthew：喔!對不起。請問這裡是The Land of Oz嗎?

Oh! Sorry. Is this the Land of Oz?

稻草人：是啊!你們不像是本地人，你們是來找誰的？

Yes! But you don’t look like local men.  Who are you looking for?

Matthew：我們不是來找人的，我們是來?.......來?.......來?.....

We’re not looking for people, we came for, for, for….

Lucas：我們是來觀光的。

We came for sightseeing.

稻草人：這裡哪有什麼好觀光的?

What’s worth seeing here?

Eason：聽說這裡是很漂亮、美麗的，怎麼跟傳說中的不一樣?

We heard this is a very, very beautiful place, but why is it so different from what people said?

稻草人：唉! 以前是很很漂亮、美麗。

(Sigh) It used to be beautiful here.

Matthew：你可以告訴我們；這幾年，這裡發生了什麼事嗎？

Could you tell us what happened all these years?

稻草人：自從Dorothy離開我們之後，上方的巫婆又開始來欺負我們與破壞這裡的美景，還有Oz跟Lower witch也被巫婆抓走了。

Since Dorothy left us, the Upper (in the English version of Wizard of Oz, the witches are called West and East) Witch has come back and destroyed the beautiful scenery. Oz and the Lower Witch were both kidnapped by the Upper Witch.

Eason：巫婆！

Witch!

Lucas：Oz被抓走了！

Oz has been kidnapped!

Matthew：好可怕唷！

So scary!

Eason：也許我們來得不是時候。

Maybe we didn’t come at the right time.

Lucas：對！我突然想到我老婆有交代我要買一瓶醬油回去給她，她還在家等我呢。

Oh right! I remember my wife told me to buy a bottle of soy sauce. She is still waiting.

Matthew：對對對!我也突然想到，我家裡養的魚已經好幾天沒餵飼料了。

Yes, yes, yes! I also remember my fish hasn’t eaten for many days.

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：我們該回去了。

We should go back.

△Eason、Lucas、Matthew轉身走幾步。

稻草人：唉!我原本以為你們都很有智慧？

(Sigh)! I thought you were all smart.

△Eason、Lucas、Matthew轉回頭回答。

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：我們是啊!但我們忙的要發明很多東西....

We are! But we are very busy inventing things.

稻草人：唉!我原本以為你們都很勇敢？

(Sigh)! I thought you were all brave.

△Eason、Lucas、Matthew越走越遠，走離場回答。

我們是啊!所以我們才像Dorothy一樣來這裡....

We are! So we came here just like Dorothy.

稻草人：唉!我原本以為你們都很愛金銀財寶？

(Sigh)! I thought you all loved treasure.

△Eason、Lucas、Matthew跑回來。

稻草人：你們怎麼又跑回來了?

Why are you back?

稻草人：你要買的醬油呢?

What about the soy sauce?

Lucas：我老婆會自己去買，沒關係。

My wife will buy it by herself. It’s ok.

稻草人：那你家的魚呢?

Then what about the fish?

Matthew：牠們平常吃太胖，剛好可以減肥。

They are too fat. It’s time to lose weight.

Eason：不過～你剛才提到什麼金銀財寶的，那是什麼?

But~what was the treasure you said?

稻草人：喔!因為上方的巫婆從各地搜括來的很多寶物。

Oh ! The witch has robbed a lot of treasure.

Matthew：趕快告訴我們巫婆在哪裡?我們要去救金銀財寶。

Just tell us where the witch is. There is treasure waiting for us to save.

Witch: 什麼?

WHAT?

Matthew：喔，我說錯了。是我們要去救Oz。

Matthew：Oh, it slipped my tongue… nonono, forget about what I just said. We must save Oz!

Scarecrow: 我正在煩惱呢，因為巫婆說今天要我把寶物給她，不然我性命不保。

I am worried, because the witch said I must give her treasure today, or she will kill me!!

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：今天？

Today?

稻草人：是啊～

Yeah~

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：什麼時候？

When?

稻草人：就是現在。

Right now.

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：現在?

NOW???

第三幕   巫婆再現

△奇異的聲音起～    音效3

巫婆：嘿..........我來了。

Hey...Here I come!

稻草人：啊~她到了!

Ahh...She's here!

Matthew：兄弟們，這次我們拼了。

Brothers, this time we'll fight it out.

Eason：好。

Right.

Lucas：不要。

No.

△兩人看向Lucas

Lucas：好啦。

All right.

△巫婆出現。

巫婆：稻草人，今天是你交出寶物的最後期限。你的寶物呢？

Scarecrow, today is the last day for you to hand over your treasure. Where is it?

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：我們....我們.....

We...We...

巫婆：什麼!你們是寶物?

What! You are the treasure?

稻草人：不是啦！他們剛才說，留在這裡是來搶你的寶物的。

No! They were just saying that they're staying here to snatch your treasure.

巫婆：什麼!真可惡。

How dare you!

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：不是......不是.....

No...No...

巫婆：誠實招來!

Spit it out!

稻草人：喔，我懂他們的意思。他們剛才還說，要把Oz救出來。

Oh, I know what they mean. They just said that they want to save Oz.

巫婆：什麼!我要殺了你們3個人。

What! I will kill you!

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：我們什麼都沒做......

We’re not trying to do anything...

巫婆：是嗎？量你們也不敢。還有你們身上有什麼寶貝可以給我嗎?

Hmm... You wouldn’t dare! Do you have any treasure to give me?

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：沒....沒有。

No...no...

巫婆：我才不相信呢。把你們身上的東西都拿出來給我。

I don't believe you. Give me all the things you have.

Eason、Matthew：我沒有…

I don't…

△Lucas舉手

Lucas：你要一罐醬油嗎?

Would you like a bottle of soy sause?

巫婆：來人啊！把他們打入地牢。

Take them to the dungeon.

第四幕 地牢

稻草人：哎唷…都是你們啦！

This is all your fault!

Oz：稻草人？是你嗎？

Scarecrow? Is that you?

Eason、Lucas、Matthew：是Oz！！

It's Oz!

Eason：哇！我可以和你要簽名嗎？

Can I have your signature?

Matthew：我可以和你合照嗎？

Can I have a photo with you?

Lucas：我可以和你要簽名照嗎？

Can I have your autograph?

△鏡頭轉到Oz。

Oz：這還不簡單？只要你用拉密把巫婆打敗，你就可以拿到你想要的東西了。

You can get what you want if you defeat the witch with the Rummikub.

△鏡頭轉回四人。

Eason：我去借筆！

I'll go borrow a pen.

Matthew：我去借拍立得！

I'll go borrow a camera.

Lucas：那我再跟你們借筆和拍立得。

Then I will borrow the pen and camera from you.

稻草人：拉密喔…(作沉思狀)我好像知道怎麼玩ㄟ。

Rummikub... I think I know how to play it!

△稻草人解說拉密，其他人睡著…。

稻草人：起床!

Wake up!

Oz：你打敗巫婆了嗎？

Have you defeated the witch yet?

稻草人：是打敗了，但他要我們自己解鎖。

Yes, but she told us to open the lock ourselves.

Oz：我需要你們的幫忙，來，跟著我的指示一步一步做。這樣...

I need your help. Here, follow my instructions. Do this and that and this and that…

Eason：哦~這樣...

This and that and this and that...

巫婆：哈哈…你們絕對打不開那個…

Hah... You absolutely can't open that…

Eason：耶!

Yeah!

巫婆：蝦毀？！

What!

Lucas：你們護送Oz，我留在後面！

You escort Oz. I will stay behind you.

稻草人：好！可是…你怎麼辦？

Okay! But, what about you?

Lucas：我有鼻涕蟲啊！

I have Slime!

△Lucas 丟出鼻涕蟲手榴彈

巫婆：啊～這是什麼！怎麼這麼噁心，全身都是黏液。拿不開！

Ahh~ What is that?! It is so disgusting. I can't get it off.

Lucas：這個就是我發明的鼻涕蟲。

This is my invention, Slime.

巫婆：啊?鼻涕。夠噁心的，快幫我拿開啦!

What, slime? It is so disgusting, take it off!

其他人：Lucas快回來！

Lucas, come back!

第五幕 脫逃

稻草人：現在怎麼辦？這裡有一堆車，哪一台車最好？

What should we do now? There are a lot of cars. Which one is the best?!    

Matthew：這看起來像是水動力車，我恰好對它很了解。

This looks like a water-power car. I happened to know them very well.

△Matthew解說。

其他人：太好了！現在要去哪裡呢？

Good! Now where should we go?

Lucas：巫婆來了！我丟鼻涕蟲，你們把她關進城堡！

The witch is coming! I will throw the slime, and you guys shut her in the castle.

△他們走出關著巫婆的城堡。                

村民：幾位英雄，應該餓了吧!如果不趕路的話，歡迎來我們家吃頓飯吧!

Heroes, you must be hungry! If you're not in a hurry, you’re welcome to our house to eat dinner!

其他人：ㄟ…這麼一說，我肚子好餓阿!

I am really hungry.

村民：來吧!我來帶路。

Come with me.

△走進村民家。下方女巫從地下冒出來。

下方女巫：當你們把上方女巫關進地牢時，我身上的魔咒就破解了，謝謝你們！

When you locked up the upper witch in the dungeon, my curse was broken. Thank you.

這是「魚菜共生裝置」嗎？

Is that Aquaponics?

村民：是呀！

Yes!

下方女巫：我小時候也做過呢!

I did that when I was young!

稻草人：是嗎??怎麼都沒聽你說過?

Really? You didn't say that before.

村民：那…可以請你幫我找出比例嗎?

Then can you tell me the proportion?

下方女巫：當然沒問題阿!

Of course!

△下方女巫解說魚菜共生最佳比例。

村民：太好了!!謝謝妳!今天晚餐就來吃魚菜共生的菜和魚吧!

Great!! Thank you! Let's eat my fish and vegetables for dinner today!
